It’s a little warmer today, seems the long-awaited summer is here Lucy thought.
River falls is a cold town, surrounded by magical lakes, waterfalls, rivers, and high mountains with about 8 months of Winter and a few months of Summer, the inhabitants are always anticipating each summer season.
Lucy continued rummaging through her long abandoned childhood stuff inside a room that once belonged to her in her Grandparent's Castle. She calmly sat down on the hard cold marble floor and kept on glancing back and forth between the opposite window, that once belonged to Lucas and her old wardrobe. She kept on trying her possible best not to lose her emotional strength completely, due to the memory flooding her mind. Lucy sat in the same position for hours trying to figure out in her mind the reason why she is putting herself through this unbearable torture. This mansion holds the memory of the gruesome murder of her parents & dearest grandfather. The memory is very fresh within her. All options have been exhausted to subdue and erase it, sadly all went futile till the present date. One thing that keeps taunting her was how gruesome the murderers were, they amputated them, killing them slowly till all blood drained out of them. It must have been a very painful death she thought. Three questions she keeps asking herself were: Who are they? Why did they murder them?? Lastly, when will they come back for her Life???
If going out with Lucas to watch nature at Eri Lake had saved her life that very day. What on earth will save her now that she is lonely and has no one to even protect her, she thought… her lonely life should be documented in the Guinness book of records. She again took a glance towards the opposite window, then smiled bitterly. She could not help but wonder what Lucas would look like now and how he is going to handle her sudden appearance after these years.
She finally stood up from her sitting position and headed toward the bathroom to ease her unstable emotions in the running water. Somehow she feels that her sudden appearance will be very unsafe for her but she has no other choice. She lost track of time while enjoying the feeling of the running water on her gentle skin, she snapped out of the feeling only to notice her alluring features in the mirror. Her green orbs stood out, fair skin, blonde hair, and ever-attractive curves. She has grown into a charming lady. How ironic, she smiled bitterly, tears streamed down her beautiful face, she does not even have a secret admirer, boyfriend, or lover. Or??? she has been very glued to her emotional turmoil thereby running and distancing herself from any relationship whatsoever. After the long bathroom shower, she fetched a casual from her bag to wear. She slid on the comfy bed and started going through some interesting news on her mobile.
