Meisha's POV

"On November 13 2 ***, the President declared the evacuation of people living in the area which is the source of thick smoke due to the chemical gas it spreads. While scientists are still investigating what exactly is the source of that matter... "I heard the reporter's news on T.V.

I just sighed and shook my head before laying down on the counter of the junkfoods I chose to buy.

"How many months has that issue been, they still haven"t been able to resolve it? Are they really scientists ?! " cashier complains while watching the news.

I didn't say anything because she was right. The news has been like this for months. But until now it is still not over, sometimes people just think that the Government is just using that smoke to cover up other issues about them.

"180 pesos all." I was immediately brought back to court when the cashier told me that.

I took the plastic containing the junkfoods from the table and handed it to her. After that, I immediately went straight to the kitchen to get an apple.

"Why Meisha? Is there a problem?" She asked while still looking at my finger.

I immediately hid my wound on my finger, "What is ... what is happening to you Mika? Why are you acting weird? Do you know that you are scaring me? " I was nervous to say her.

She smiled horribly, "What are you saying, Meisha? Nothing happen to me. I just want to heal your wound. "

"Cure? as far as I know, you're scared of blood so how do you manage to just suck my wound all of a sudden? Also, you don't really call me Meisha, do you? It's Shasha , Mika." I said as I backed away from her.

I quickly looked around until the knife I had used to cut earlier caught my attention. I didn't think twice and picked it up with my right hand.

I was just dumbfounded because of what happened. I don't know what happened to My sister and she did that to me.But this is not the right time to think that,I know its hurt but I need to accept the fact .

I looked at Mika's corpse again and was about to touch it when suddenly I heard a shout outside.

a series of shouts I hear outside the house. I could even see running near in our window.

Out of curiosity I immediately got up from my seat and slowly approached the window. Exactly when I peeked, I was exposed to people who were making a fuss outside and seemed to be running away.

Help! Help! " I was startled when a man appeared at the window and rattled the window.

That tentacle immediately wrapped around the man's body and suspiciously caused the man to shout loudly. I followed him with my gaze until I could see the origin of that tentacle.

Turn a monster? He was quite a big man with his big body. It also has many eyes and tentacles on his body and has a large mouth.

"N-no !!" I cried when I saw that monster split the man's body in two before eating it.

I suddenly backed away and seemed to vomit at what I saw.

I feel that I couldn't breathe because my heart beating so fast. I don"t know what to do. I could not even move in the place where I am now because I heard the screams and explosions everywhere.

my hair stood when I heard a faint roar in the outside of our house.

I took a deep breath before peeking out the window. I don't see any monsters on the road , just corpses of people. including the the car didn't move.

It's like I'm in hell.

I was shaken vigorously before getting up and going to the bedroom to get a blanket. Next I went to My sister Mika's body in the kitchen and examined it.

"I don't know what happened to you. I'm sorry if I killed you .. "I couldn't help but to cry. "I just don't really know what to do!" I groaned.

I was sobbing softly next to My sister and was about to cover her body when I suddenly noticed something on her forehead. Where I stabbed the knife I used her to dead .

Gradually her forehead melted until it was spread out. Out of fear I walked backwards away from her.

After a while, My sister's whole body melted and there was nothing left in her body. Except for her dress and a glowing stone.

I looked out the window. I can't stay in this place . Maybe someone will attack me again when I'm still here.

I don't wasted more time and quietly prepared everything I would need when I left the house. Next I put a note on my sister's place, where her body disappeared.

"Rest in Peace, My sister Mika." I immediately bit my lip to keep from crying, "Please watch over me wherever I go."

I took a deep breath when I felt like I was going to cry again. I immediately arranged myself in the mirror and put a face mask over my mouth.

I swallowed my own saliva as I turned the doorknob on the door. As I slowly opened it, my heartbeat slowly down and I seemed to be pissed off with fear.

"Calm down self! We haven't gone far yet, we're are going to die! " I said to myself.

I sighed before touching the doorknob and turning it. When the door opened, I slowly looked outside in our house.

I make sure there were no monsters when I went out before I finally left the house. The smoke scattered around . It's not too thick so I can still see the surroundings.

But where did this smoke come from?

As I walked slowly down the road, I looked around alertly. Once again I was screaming because of the corpses scattered around.

I looked at the convenience store I had just bought and immediately smiled when an idea entered in my mind.

There's nothing wrong if I had taking the food inside without get the permission of the owner. I just want to live long.

I stopped walking and looked around to see if there was a monster around. When I was sure nothing, I immediately ran into the convenience store.

I took a deep breath to calm myself and slowly stepped back. As I retreated, I just focused my gaze on the monster outside.
